About The Woman’s Auxiliary
Over 200 women dedicated to serving Piedmont Atlanta Hospital since 1957.
On, June 10, 1957, The Woman’s Auxiliary became officially active as one of the first hospital Auxiliaries in Georgia due to the commitment and vision of Mrs. Strother Fleming (Anne) along with more than 200 interested women.
That same year, on October 1st, a Gift Shop, operated entirely by volunteers, opened for the convenience of patients, visitors and employees.
The proceeds from the Gift Shop, The Celebration of Love, and Stronger Together directly benefit Piedmont Atlanta.

The Woman's Auxiliary Gift Shop is staffed by our volunteers. We provide our customers with beautiful gifts, flowers, cards, magazines and sundry items. Gift Shop volunteers receive a 20% discount on these same items! Come check us out and find out for yourself how much fun it can be to volunteer in one of our fabulous shops!
